What Wilfords’ Are Eating 1/1-1/4

Happy New Year!!!

In the spirit of the New Year, I have decided to start a new weekly post, “What Wilfords’ Are Eating” with our weekly menu plan. A few times, I have been asked, “Do you really eat like your blog food every night?” And, I am never really quite sure how to take that question. So, that inspired me to look at how we really do eat every night and share that with you. I am also finding that as I am coming to the one year anniversary of starting the blog, I am cycling back to many of the recipes I have cooked in the past and they are so good, I want to remind you of them too!

Normally, I am someone who plans my meals out about a week to a week and a half in advance. I also tend to loosely schedule our weekend menu as we are more likely on a Saturday or Sunday to go out to eat or have dinner at Grandma and Grandpa’s (meaning I get the night off, yay!!!).  I usually like to try about 3 new recipes a week. With that in mind, I do deviate from the plan occasionally!

I plan to post our Monday through Friday menu with links to previously posted recipes for you. And, then, you can wait in anticipation of the posting of the new recipes as I cook them. Admittedly, I am not great at posting the same night as I cook so the recipes will probably post a day or two after I schedule us to eat them. 🙂 So, here’s to the first week of “What Wilfords’ Are Eating”!

  1. This is a great idea. I actually do a month’s calendar just get a rough estimate of what we plan to have and what I’ll need each week. I’ll be looking forward to seeing your ideas.
